The role
We are currently expanding our business and we are looking for a new member to join our team as Exports Area Manager. The role will report to the Export Director, and you will be collaborating with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing Departments.
Purpose of this role is to effectively plan & carry out Exports customers activities in the assigned markets, and across the strategic business channels (Food Service/ HORECA, Retail and Private Label. The goal will be the successful deployment and execution of customers annual business plans and budget strategies, with a strong mindset towards exceeding turnover and profit targets.
You will be responsible to :
• Actively manage & develop PESCANOVA portfolio in the existing customers in the Balkans area. Priority focus in the Food Service & Retail channels.
• Identify new business opportunities by tapping the potential customers and new-to-open markets.
• Conduct regular business reviews in order to monitor customer sales performance, ensuring all sales and marketing activities are carried out within the aligned targets and timelines.
• Able to understand and handle efficiently assigned markets P&L
• Collect and anlyse market data on frequent basis. Able to spot new category trends in the assigned markets, ensuring Pescanova portfolio and commercial strategies remain competitive.
• Able to liaise and influence all key stakeholders and decisions makers of his strategic customers.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing. A relevant Master's degree would be considered a plus.
• 4-6 years of hands on relevant experience in Key Account and Exports Customer - Business Development management, preferably in the Balkans region
• Excellent command of Greek and English language. Knowledge of additional foreign languages will be considered a plus.
• Ability for regular travel and time away from home.
