Linux Administrator (Based in Paris)

ManpowerGroup, on behalf of its client, a regional Software leader in executing large-scale ICT solutions, is searching for a Linux Administrator to join a European project based in Paris.

Job Description
The job holder will be responsible for:
• Tracking and monitoring backups
• Troubleshooting and support (level 1 and 2)
• Deploying Applications
• Escalating when necessary to Vendor outsourcer and monitoring resolution
• Coordinating and implementing operations and changes into production
• Writing and improving operating procedures (in English)
• Monitoring of the quality of service
• Reporting to the management and preparation for the Steering Committee
• Monitoring of resource capacity (Physical Server, storage)
• Supporting during the migration project
• Specifying operation requirements (monitoring, logs, compliance with production tools and process)
• Advising and providing Feedback to authority on platforms design

• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant field
• 4 years of proven experience in:
- Linux system administration: Redhat or CentOS and Ubuntu
- Shell Programming
- Apache configuration (including reverse proxy and virtual host configuration)
- Databases: MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server
- Application servers: JBoss, Tomcat
- Infrastructure-as-code and configuration management using tools such as  Ansible
- Excellent knowledge and practical experience of CI/CD configuration and related
- Excellent understanding of and experience deploying applications to cloud services, preferably VMWare, Azure, AWS
• Fluent to near native user of the English language
• Knowledge of the French language will be considered a plus
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
• Excellent problem solving skills with attention to detail
