Our client an Egyptian Marine company, would like to hire an experienced Marine Maintenance Engineer in Egypt.
Duties
Responsible for traveling to the dock or seaport where the vessel is located, inspecting and servicing engine equipment, troubleshooting, and making minor repairs.
Responsibilities
Traveling to marina or dock where the boat is located.
Testing the performance of marine engines and electrical systems.
Carrying out services and minor repairs on outboard, inboard engines.
Troubleshooting engine and electrical problems.
Completing service records and repair documents.
Creating a complete maintenance cycle including and not limited to: Job Orders, Planning labor hour per task, planning spare parts orders and follow-up, Technicians Plans and Missions.
Able to use diagnostic tools for renowned manufacturers (Mercuiser, Volvo Penta, Yamaha, Suzuki…etc).
Team Management.
Reporting revenue, costs, plans, and potential business to top management.
Requirements
Degree in marine Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
Extensive knowledge of petrol motorboat engines, able to diagnose problems with electrical systems (at least 10 years of experience).
Ability to relocate to Egypt.
Ability to work and lead an Egyptian Team (Mechanics/Electricians).
