As an Assistant Front Office Manager
you will
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Front Office, ensuring
smooth and efficient operations
- Oversee guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and
timely completion
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and
professional manner
- Ensure adherence to all hotel policies and procedures, as well as
all local and national regulations
- Supervise and manage employees
- Understand employee positions well enough to perform duties in
employees' absence
- Assist with any other duties as required by the line manager or
another member of the management team
- Support handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving
grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others
- Interact with customers on a regular basis throughout the property
to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall
satisfaction
- Cooperate with other hotel departments to make sure the work is
planned and organized efficiently
- Perform Front Desk/Guest Relations/Guest Services/Butler duties in
high demand times
- Be in charge of Front Office in absence of Front Office Manager
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of front office experience in a luxury hotel
environment
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
- Additional language knowledge would be consider an extra asset
- Microsoft Office proficiency and Opera
- Knowledge of hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and CRM
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Strong customer service orientation
