Area Supervisor

Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, an international well-known tobacco products company, for a dynamic professional to cover the following position based in Attica:

Area Supervisor

The purpose of the role is to be the one who oversees and manages the whole trade marketing -promotional program based on the tobacco company’s strategy, guidelines and priorities in his/her geographical area of responsibility.
Accurate route planning is one of his/her main duties along with daily schedule changes that may occur. He/ she acts as a liaison between the Agency(Adecco) and the tobacco products company.

Job Description
•Accurate route planning working in close cooperation with company-client
•Efficiently handling scheduling problems that may occur both with Brand Ambassadors (BAs) and Point of Sales (PoS)
•Organize a thorough induction plan for new hires and ensure its proper execution
•Have deep knowledge and understanding of the program –execution, priorities & mechanism and be able to transfer that knowledge to his/her team
•Produce reports using the relevant tools in order to monitor the programs KPIs and take corrective actions if necessary
•Evaluation of his/her team through quantitative & qualitative results in order to develop the Brand Ambassadors’ skills and drive the results
•Recommend program improvements by identifying organizational or employee-related issues and create effective solutions
•Ensure that all company’s procedures are being applied

Candidate Profile

•Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in any field
•Two (2) to three (3) years of working experience in a similar position from an advertising/promotional services company or from the sales or trade marketing function of a FMCG – Retail company
•Proven experience in team management and relevant activities
•Fluency in Greek and English
•Excellent knowledge of Ms-office applications (mainly, Excel and PowerPoint)
•Leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage others by creating easily-followed guidelines
•Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
•Ability to communicate across different levels of an organization
•Strongly self-motivated to include studying and maintaining working knowledge of tobacco industry standards and trends
•Punctuality and time management skills
•Flexibility in working style (field and office work)
