Sommelier

We are looking for a Sommelier who wants to move his/her career forward. As a sommelier you will…

  • Dealing with guests & answering any questions regarding wine list
  • Advising guests on wines based on their personal tastes and food choices
  • Responding effectively to requests and complaints
  • Pairing & explaining wines with tasting menu
  • Updating the wine list in coordination with the Wine Director
  • Overseeing cellar conditions, ensuring optimal storage
  • Recommending food and wine pairings

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Entry Requirements:
  • WSET level 3 (or equivalent studies)
  • Excellent command of English language both verbal and written
  • Be a team player and a great communicator with guests from all over the world, colleagues and managers in all departments)
  • Be familiar with food and beverage industry’s technology
  • Upselling, organizational and communicational skills
  • Knowledge of local vineyards and wineries
  • Sales oriented: must be able to recommend wines to patrons and improve profits in order to meet financial targets
