Ticket Agent (Travel Agency)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a travel management company, providing services in Greece and internationally, is in search of a Ticket Agent, to join the company’s office in the Northern Suburbs of Athens, Greece.

Responsibilities:

The job holder will be responsible for travel reservations and ticketing to and from all destinations around the world.

More specifically he/she will:

• Arrange reservations and routing for clients
• Issue flight tickets using the GDS Amadeus
• Answer customers’ questions regarding dates, prices, and availability of flights
• Calculate costs, process refunds, and handle other financial transactions
• Provide excellent customer service
• Handle any arising issues
• Perform other duties as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role in a travel agency
• Great knowledge of Amadeus platform
• IATA diploma will be a plus
• Fluent in English (oral & written)
• Knowledge of a second language will be preferred
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office
• Excellent communication and social skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work under pressure and flexible working hours
