Hotel Manager

Location: Thessaloniki, Greece
Position Summary
The Hotel Manager will be responsible to oversee the daily operations of our hotel as well as provide strategic direction and be an ambassador for our brand. He / She should provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- He / She will be responsible for managing the Hotels management team and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent Guest experience
- Welcome all VIP hotel guests or guests assigned by the General Manager
- Monitor the guest feedback on Trip advisor, Holiday Check and relevant travel sites; work with the aim to improve monthly hotel ratings and comments on all sites
- Receive and resolve or support the General Manager in resolving guest complaints and service recovery process
- Participate in daily briefings with departmental managers in order to discuss all matters about daily hotel operation
- Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long term strategic goals for the property; develop improvement actions, carry out costs savings; ensure revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded
- Supervise work at all levels (front office, kitchen staff, housekeeping, maintenance) and set clear objectives
- Oversee that all maintenance jobs are properly held
- Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners
- Prepare monthly financial reporting
- Assist in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment contracting with third-party vendors for essential equipment and services
- Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards
- Build strong working relationships and communications with hotel employees, conduct trainings and appraisals
- Work very closely with the hotel owners
