Pharmacist

For our client, a family-run pharmacy business with 30 years of tradition, we are looking for a Pharmacist to join their growing team.

We would love to hear from pharmacists who are qualified for a minimum of 24 months or experienced pharmacists looking for a change. Training and help on all aspects of the Irish pharmacy system will be provided.

• Operating the dispensary in accordance with all the legal responsibilities pertaining to the pharmacy profession.
• Exercising all aspects of law, ethics and codes of practice as laid down by the Irish Pharmaceutical Society.
• Providing a safe and efficient dispensing service and delivery of medicines to customers in accordance with company guidelines.
• Helping customers by assessing their conditions and providing advice about medicines in a professional and empathic manner.
• Managing monthly submissions to the payment boards and following up on rejected claims.
• Creating, promoting and maintaining good relationships with the pharmacy team, customers and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensuring the dispensary and OTC team are updated on all pharmacy legalities and that mentoring and training is delivered where required.
• Participating in training and development programs as required.
• Assisting the pharmacy team in other projects and duties when required

• Hold a pharmacist qualification from an EU or European Economic Area (EEA) member state and are nationals of an EU / EEA member state and entitled to register with the PSI via European Route of Qualification Recognition and Registration
• Meet the English Language requirements of the PSI.
• 24 months support pharmacist experience.
• Ability to work carefully, methodically, and accurately in a high-volume dispensing environment.
• Sharp analytical skills and scientific aptitude.
• Good interpersonal skills with a caring and empathic manner.
• Ability to build relationships within a team through mentoring and encouragement.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• A positive and professional attitude with an appreciation of the importance of delivering excellent customer service and the ability to use discretion when addressing confidential information.
• Comfortable using computerized equipment such as cash registers, credit card payment terminals, and barcode scanners.

• Full time, permanent position (40 hours per week)
• Start: January/February 2023
• Accommodation is provided for the free first month, afterwards, you will be paying between €400 and €600 per month for a single room

• 62 000 € to 75 000 € gross per year (3600 € to 4160 € net per month) - 30 € per hour gross onwards - depending on experience
• Salary is paid every week
