Senior Software Developer

ACTIONLINE is looking for Senior Software Developer, for a software company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Developer is part of an agile development team building and working on enterprise software applications. The Senior Software Developer is involved in all steps of the software engineering process.

The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Software Developer include:

• Develop, test, and maintain web business applications
• Participate in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, and estimates
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
• Lead peer reviews of solution designs and related code
• Package and support deployment of releases
• Work with teammates in the migration of older applications (asp) to current technologies
• Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
• Analyse and resolve technical and application problems
• Provide third-level support to business users

Desired Skills & Experience:

• College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Strong desire to learn Core Competency Requirements
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
• Familiarity with version control concepts
• Familiarity with software deployment platforms
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Ability to work autonomously

Preferred Competency Requirements:

• Exposure to Microsoft .NET development using C#
• Exposure to web development using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript Knowledge of client/server application development
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of unit testing theory

Other:

• Work hours are in CET timezone, between 8:00 and 18:00 CET.
• Type of work: full remote
• A good level of English is required. French, would be a plus.
