CFA Society Greece is a not-for-profit association of investment professionals, consisting of asset managers, security analysts, investment advisers, bank executives and other finance professionals.
With over 220 members, CFA Society Greece is one of more than 150 CFA Institute Societies around the world. The Society connects members to a global network of investment professionals who have earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation. .
About the Role
The Executive Director will report to the Board of Directors of the Society and will play a central role in the culture and direction of the organization and in the investment management community in Greece.
In particular:
Implement Strategic plans & execute the objectives and agenda set by the BoD
Propose, formulate & implement functional plans and internal policies for the development and growth of the Society
Oversee, conduct or propose to commission market research programs to advance CFA Society Greece knowledge and facilitate informed decision-making on services, programs, and policy development
Develop, maintain and manage external relationships including but not limited to members
Design and implement strategies to build recognition for the CFA Charter, CFA Program and CFA Society Greece in the local community
Support advocacy initiatives and build relations with regulators and other professional bodies
Formulate and develop strategic and tactical marketing, branding, social media and PR engagement plans
Develop and manage a comprehensive sponsorship program for external vendors designed to provide revenues/offset costs of events and build closer ties/visibility within the investment community
Coordinate the participation of the Society to events organized by other industry peers
Support annual and specific project budgeting/funding activities and monitor budget implementation
Overview the work of the accounting service providers and statutory auditors to ensure that the Society accounts are maintained and audited
