Java Application Support Engineer (Java/Spring Boot) (Relocation) (Ref. 6396 /JASE/ESS/RL)

The Java Application Support Engineer will work with the Java Development team, on eu- LISA premises in Strasbourg, FRANCE.

Job Responsibilities:

• Level 3 support in shifts.
• Taking full end-to-end responsibility for providing application support to the customer
• Finding permanent (or sustainable) solutions, or workarounds to incidents.
• If applicable, creating problem reports and / or change requests and linking them to incidents.
• Describing the solutions and confirming whether they will eventually lead to restoring service operations.
• Creating specific input required for incident reviews to be conducted by the customer, as well as continuous Knowledge Management (KM) feeds related to incidents.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of ITIL framework.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Capability to absorb new information quickly.
• Ability to work under pressure (time, workload, customer).
• Demonstrated supportive attitude towards the customer with strong SLA focus.
• Very good organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks as well as maintain the work schedule for other co-workers.
• Structured way of working.
• Well-bred social behaviour.
