Job Overview
The Back-end Developer will use his understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, suggest more efficient processes, solve problems and create a more seamless experience for users. Also, he/she will be responsible for the computer servers of the organization. Back End Developer ensures on a daily basis that they are running efficiently by performing upgrading and maintenance tasks on hardware and software, resolving technical problems, overseeing their activity levels, ensuring server security, and developing new system structures when necessary. He/she should have excellent communication and project management skills.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The back end developer should be able to:• Manage (maintenance, update, customization, changes, upgrades) and configure servers using Apache in Linux environment
• Database creation
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications with Node JS.
• Manage websites using C-panel
• Make all the necessary updates for the organization’s websites, keys and authorization codes
• Configure and manage e-mail server using Plesk
• Design or maintain web pages using PHP and Content Management System (Wordpress)
• Manage hosting environments, including database administration
• Understand front end technologies like HTML, CSS and programming languages (JavaScript) in order to communicate with other team members
• Be updated with latest programming technological advancements through education and information notices
