IT Support Engineer– (Ref. 6247/ITSE/ESS/GR)
Profile
The IT Support Engineer will be reporting to the IT Systems and Network Administrator and will have the primary responsibility of providing first level of support, troubleshoot, maintain, as well as install hardware in our premises in Kalochori for all users. He/she will further support the IT team in all new project implementations and is expected to contribute with new proposals and ideas for hardware and software improvement plans.
Responsibilities:
- Guarantee the connection of all users with the company network and prompt restoration of any malfunctions
- Coordinate daily problem solving of issues concerning all software and hardware systems in the group on all available systems
- Install, configure and replace computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Support the roll-out of new applications
- Test and evaluate new technology and come forward with proposals where applicable
- Communicate with suppliers and handle the process of acquiring goods from them
- Support our loyalty program by providing technical support to windows applications and reporting any issues with the platform to the supplier
- Document and maintain processes and procedures
