As a Procurement Specialist among your responsibilities you will have to:

• Create solid business relationships with suppliers and internal customers and ensure inventory is properly distributed
• Work closely with other departments, i.e. purchasing, quality, customer service to ensure the completion of common goals
• Conduct research to ascertain market trends and identify potential suppliers
• Manage supplier development activities related to on-time delivery, order management and inventory control
• Communicate with suppliers to solve problems involving pricing, supplier performance, or any other matters that may arise
• Assist as necessary on projects to improve and streamline the Procurement department’s processes
• Proactively identify delivery gaps, provide awareness, and suggest solutions to ensure production plans are successfully followed

In order to make an impact on this Procurement Specialist role you need to have the following:

• University Degree in Business / Marketing / Economics or any relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Exceptional computer skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent negotiation and people skills
• Ability to inspire trust, work ethically, with business integrity and discipline
