Product & Business Analyst – Ref. 5595/DOE/ESS/CY

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Data & Commercial Platforms, the Product & Business Analyst, will be a member of the Department of Data & Commercial Platforms, Commercial and will play a pivotal role in identifying and implementing product solutions within the organisaton’s commercial function. By researching and analyzing current work processes to identify opportunities, this role requires collaboration across the commercial teams, building out concise process documentation, and gathering requirements to ensure future-proof solutions that aid in digital transformation and ensure the organisation remains easy to do business with.
In this role, the PB Analyst will liaise with stakeholders to map out and document internal processes and requests, work alongside platform developers to improve internal systems, and assist in project management delivery. With previous experience in capturing requirements and understanding customer needs along with an appetite for continuous improvement, this role will be accountable for creating detailed process design flows and documentation. Additionally, the Analyst will assist the Director – Data & Commercial Platforms in the prioritization of product development. With a high attention to detail, this role will help ensure that the organisation’s teams have the right products, tools, and processes to deliver success.

Key Responsibilities:
Create Process Governance Across the Commercial Teams:
  • Create detailed design flows and decision trees of all internal processes requiring business decision autonomy.
  • Develop RACI documentation offering transparency of processes and policies.
  • Establish a Knowledge Hub, including user manuals and guides for internal colleagues.

Identify Opportunities & Manage Prioritization:

  • Document scope of work and project briefs to assist the line manager.
  • Participate in the prioritization of development, aiding the line manager with product analysis as required.
  • Manage the backlog of work between front-end users and developers.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Attend meetings with developers and third-party software suppliers to deliver requirements and understand risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with Technology to deliver solutions for Commercial that align with the Technology roadmap.
  • Maintain a close relationship with the CRM team to deliver a best-in-class customer platform.
  • Collaborate with the data team to understand the implications of front-end processes and ensure products and processes work cross-functionally.

Delivery and Evaluation:

  • Hold workshops and feedback sessions with internal stakeholders.
  • Aid with change management, transitioning projects into Business as Usual (BAU).
  • Provide training and user manuals.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of solutions, working with internal teams and data functions to demonstrate success.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Job Requirements:

  • Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
  • Proven record in delivering process improvements and project delivery.
  • Experience with Change Management techniques, including Training, Developing, and Onboarding organizations/individuals.
  • Evidence of successful Project Management.
  • Familiarity with Decision Making Frameworks such as RICE, Agile, and Six Sigma.

Job-Specific Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making.
  • Transparent approach with the ability to influence and engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in process design software such as Visio and Lucid Chart.
  • Proficiency in project/work management tools like Jira Project, Confluence, and Azure Boards.
  • Knowledge of prioritization methodologies.
  • Experience in the travel industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with product design tools such as Figma and Miro boards desired.
  • Support as required, with quarterly trips depending on the home base (Athens/Cyprus).
