On behalf of our client, a Luxury Property of 10 Villas in Mani, we are recruiting a Cook A for the upcoming season of 2023.
In order to be a successful cook, you need to be able to use various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet our guests’ expectations. Ultimately, a top-notch cook should be able to handle multiple food orders without compromising quality.
The colleuague that will join the team for the season will be working the evening shift at the a la carte signature restaurant of the hotel alongside an assistant/dishwasher.
The restaurant operates from Tuesday to Sunday , 19:00PM-23:00PM with pre-booked reservations. only.
Contract Duration: 01/04/2023-30/09/2023
What to expect:
• Maximum of 8 working hours per day.
• One day off per week.
• Net Salary: 1800€ / per month (payment on time)
• All wages and benefits are included as required by law.
• Two meals per day.
• Accommodation inside the establishment with or without cohabitation (maximum number of people in the room:2).

The Role:
• Preparing high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes.
• Storing excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage.
• Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.
• Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed.
• Monitoring portion and waste control.
• Ensuring that cooking equipment is well maintained and clean.
• Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas.
• Working close with the team to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Managing and training any commis chefs.
• Efficiently resolving problems with customers’ orders.
• Ensuring that food health and safety regulations are followed.

• Culinary arts diploma.
• Safe food handling certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods and techniques.
• Proven experience working as a CDP.
• The ability to work in a team with a positive attitude.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Effective communication skills.
