Procurement Assistant (Ref: IR/PRA022)

Job Information
Resort: Ikos Oceania
Location: Halkidiki, Greece
Contract: Full Time /seasonal-permanent

Your main responsibilities

  • Handle purchasing needs of operational equipment and ensure on time deliveries.
  • Maintain well organized file depository regarding purchase requests, purchase orders, contracts, invoices and other important documentation.
  • Negotiate terms & conditions with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, payment terms, delivery dates.
  • Run market research, identify potential new vendors and opportunities.
  • Analyse the market and prepare comparisons, presentations and reports
  • Liaise with other departments, in order to cover purchasing needs and achieve defined targets.
  • Coordinate and execute delivery changes.
  • Liaise with suppliers when necessary. Identify alternative suppliers to cover the company’s needs and best interests.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Your main qualifications/skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant studies desirable.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative position. Work experience in a Procurement department will be considered an asset.
  • MS Office – power user of Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and attention to detail.
