On behalf of our client, a leading industrial company with operations in Greece and Abroad, we are looking for a SAP System Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, designing, proposing and implementing oversight of solutions for key business processes including and spanning those that support Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, Quality and Sales. The SAP System Manager will definitely participate in the upgrading of the SAP ecosystem, understanding the impact and needs of the applications.
Furthermore the position will support the application and technical specialists in the multi-system application architecture and have the thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs for the applications involved and the impact upon each other.
This role is reporting directly to the Systems Application Manager.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works closely with SAP software vendors ensuring strategic and architectural fit and ability of product to scale in order to meet company’s requirements and qualifications. Ensures developed documentation is appropriate and includes the end-to-end business process/application/technology landscape.
- Provides expertise on application architecture design or improvement in the areas of SAP. Should have cross functional business scenario experience involving at least 3 of the following SAP functional areas SD, CO, MM, PP, QM, WM, BW and FI processes.
- Provides strategic consultancy support to internal clients, Senior Application Technical Specialists and other technical team members in all aspects of enabling technologies to meet business needs.
- Collaborates with the Process Stewards, Delivery Leads and Project managers in solution design and implementation.
- Lead cross functional project teams and functional groups within company’s ERP; including also other internal IT groups and key technology solution partners to design and implement specific solutions to company’s most challenging and high visibility business requirements, which may be driven by changes to business models, mergers and acquisitions, and availability of new technologies.
- Collaborates with hardware, network and database architects to research new technologies where appropriate and facilitates the introduction of new technologies and process improvements.
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate Policies and procedures.
