Legal Advisor Open Vacancy

We are looking for our offices in Piraeus for an experienced ‘in-house’ legal advisor to provide support
on the Legal issues and risks that our company may face, reviewing, drafting and preparing of various corporate
documents and contracts.

Communicating, reviewing and preparing of all relevant forms and documentation for submission to governmental
offices, financial institutions, authorities and other counterparties in order to provide compliance with requirements
and applicable law.

Reviewing Company's internal documentation for the compliance with legislation, drafting internal company's
policies, manuals and other documents.

Advising on legal, financial matters, settlements of outstanding fees, etc.

Offer advises and propose solutions and modifications when the need arise, provide timely legal support in a
fast-paced, business oriented environment.

Handle and follow-up court cases, court appearances and hearings.

• Law Degree from an accredited law school required

• Lawyer qualification from Athens Bar Association 

• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience as lawyer at a Maritime law firm or in-house (or a combination of both)

• Full professional proficiency in English

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and excellent computer literacy.

• Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the company

• Excellent writing and presentation skills

• Strong change and project management skills, including the ability to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines

• Detail-oriented approach needed to recommend and implement strategic improvements on legal issues

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion

• Some international travel required
