Field Scientist (Thessaloniki)
Job Description
• Conducts field work in line with the Field Station’s program
• Conducts and monitors trials to characterize the field performance of traits and chemistry in line with technical objectives provided
• Leadership, initiative and productivity, ability to select optimal field sites and conducting field trials according to highest standards and EPPO guidelines
• Understands/ writes protocols, accountable for exact planning of applications, evaluations and delivering of final data/ reports
• Ability to interact with growers and farmers
• Assesses field trials and data processing including statistics and trial reports
• Prepares data summaries and presentations for internal and external meetings
Απαραίτητα Προσόντα
• Experience as a Field Scientist with R&D Activities
• University Degree in Agronomy
• Excellent knowledge of English (both oral and written)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Previous experience on statistical tools as ARM
• Proven organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Mobility to leave and work in the country side (when needed)
