Travel Agent - Operations Officer (Transfers & Excursions Department)

Job Description:

The Transfers & Excursions Agent is responsible for handling and supporting group/FIT requests and travel packages, along with day-to-day operations of Meli Tours in Thessaloniki, i.e. transfers, excursions, reservations, and back office management. In addition, budgeting and preparing quotations are also included in this role.

Necessary Qualifications:

• Proven work experience in a similar position at a Travel Agency/DMC dealing with transfers, excursions and tours
• Experience in creating Travel Itineraries & Holiday Packages (experience in MICE will also be appreciated)
• Experience in handling Transport Services Logistics
• Experience in serving B2B clients (Tour Operators/Travel Agencies/Corporations)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Very good knowledge of CRS/CRM/MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Planning & organizational skills/Multitasking
• Efficiency under pressure and tight deadlines
• Degree related to tourism, finance and/or IT
• Driver’s License
