Web Developer - Back End

IT company is looking for Web Developer - Back End.

Type of employment: Full time
Location: Patras, Greece 

Duties:

• Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to resolve technical problems. Candidate must have a strong understanding of large scale applications, general web functions and standards.
• The position requires constant communication with colleagues in both Greek and English.
• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organisational units. Deep expertise and hands on experience with large scale Web Application and programming languages such us PHP, Node.js, HTML,CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, API's and MVC frameworks.
• Open mindedness and an interest in different programming languages, frameworks, continuous integration and monitoring tools. An understanding of asynchronous programming techniques, statically typed languages and micro-service architecture.
• Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc...) is needed to be successful in this position.

Skills and Qualifications 

• PHP, HTML, JavaScript, MySQL, MVC frameworks, Laravel, Vue.js or similar, Git, Data structure, API's, Microservices, Web Programming Skills, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design,Web Services (REST/SOAP)
• Teamwork
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Excellent communication skills, able to accurately present the team's activities in various international events, summits and meet ups
