Business Unit Manager
Responsibilities:
• Has the overall management and assume absolute responsibility for all departmental related activity and deliverables.
• Monitors and controls the business unit’s performance and finances in accordance with the budgets approved by the Board of Directors.
• Is responsible for personnel management, including recruitment, training, supervision and development of the team maximizing revenue, utilization and contribution while maintaining high levels of motivation and personal satisfaction levels.
• Ensures that the company meets all its legal requirements, including those relating to Occupational Health and Safety
• Holds regular meetings with departmental managers so that they have an effective and complete overview of all projects and aware of all potential issues and to achieve the optimum revenue and profitability figures and client’s satisfaction.
• Works with departmental managers to ensure resources are available.
• Monitors the work and performance of all departmental staff, undertaking regular appraisal reviews and updating and maintaining of skills matrix.
• Enforces standard policies and procedures.
• Reviews status reports of departmental managers.
• Keeps performance indicators and provide status reports to the Board of Directors.
