For our client a 4 * Luxury Golf Resort in Ireland we are looking for a Kitchen Porter to clean our kitchen and support our cooking staff. This is an entry-level job but if you're good at it, you'll be invaluable in making sure our kitchen is always sanitized and tidy.
The hotel offers a starting salary of 10.3 € per hour / 5-day working week with a maximum of 50 hours.
End-of-season BONUS!
Accommodation and meals are provided at all times for 57 Euros per week.
Kitchen Porter responsibilities include:
- Keeping kitchen areas clean and sanitized
- Washing all cooking utensils and utensils fast
- Supporting kitchen staff by taking on food prep tasks
- Washing pots and pans, keeping floors clean, sanitizing food preparation areas and occasionally helping with food prep work.
- Keep food and storage areas organized
Requirements
- A fast learner with a keen interest in the kitchen
- The ability to stand for long hours
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety rules
- Good organizational skills
- The ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment
-Patience and cool-headedness
- A high school degree or equivalent is a plus but not necessary
