Director of Sales & Revenue

Domain of responsibility: Eagles Palace and Eagles Villas, a unique 5* Luxury Resort
Location: Thessaloniki, Greece
Duration: Full time contract

Position Summary
As a Director of Sales & Revenue, you will lead and manage the sales and reservations team in order to achieve the resort’s customer acquisition and revenue targets. You will be responsible to develop and execute key sales growth and pricing strategies, tactics and action plans for maximizing revenue and achieve strategic goals and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve or exceed Resort sales targets and performance KPIs; expand clientele base while building strong relationships
  • Monitor and analyze financial and strategic results; prepare and analyze weekly, monthly and annual reports in order to measure revenue performance against established goals; continually monitor booking pace and respond to unexpected variances
  • Manage and oversee B2B Contracting process; develop appropriate pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with Tour Operators and Travel Agents; evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates
  • Manage and oversee tactics and strategies for all distribution channels
  • Identify emerging markets and market trends while being fully aware of competition status; design and understand the Resort’s business strategy; explore and provide variations in the market mix which would stimulate additional revenue
  • Lead and motivate Resort Sales & Reservations team to develop customer relations, increase market share and maximize revenue
  • Assist in the selection and training of sales team making sure that they have the skills necessary to perform their duties in the most productive way
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, industry events, familiarization trips and other relevant shows
  • Cooperate efficiently with the Resort’s Management team in order to effectively communicate revenue targets and achieve company’s goals

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Qualifications / Personal characteristics:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position ideally within a 5* Luxury Hotel
  • Degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, Finance or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Power Point, Fidelio, MS Office,) and excellent knowledge of relevant to sales platforms
  • Experience in communications, events and brand building
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise (Resorts); available to travel abroad
  • Work to deadlines with accuracy and self-motivation; excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Pleasant personality, great team player and a confident communicator at all levels
