As an Aircraft Engineering Specialist your main responsibilities will be:
  • Repair, remove or install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as engines, rotors, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and other relative components
  • Apply technical knowledge of airframe and powerplant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and use required expertise in restoring equipment conditions
  • Maintain and repair aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components
  • Possess comprehensive technical expertise to solve complex problems by interpreting technical documentation with respect to the technical guidance provided through government official representatives
  • Prepare aircraft for scheduled or special inspections and maintenance checks services on time 
  • Help with the maintenance operational checks regarding diagnoses and troubleshoots of aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required
  • Use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment
  • Participate in maintenance of test flights and operation checks

 

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

For the Aircraft Engineer Specialist position you need to have:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, modification and repair of tactical aircraft systems
  • Experience in Military or Business Jet types
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement parts
  • Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal,structural modifications and repair
  • Basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools
  • Be able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects
  • Ability to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks
  • Ability to relocate in Kalamata (Greece) permanently
  • EASA B1 license holder is a must
