Main Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, test, and maintain Server operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Supporting the technical design process by participating in the analysis of technical application requirements.
• Assisting in implementing analyses that will identify requirements related to people, processes & technology.
• Executing conversion plans and documenting possible improvements; identifying disruptions in the processes.
• Participating in execution and documentation of tests.
• Co-manage and monitor IT systems and infrastructure ensuring high availability.
• Ensure data is stored securely and backed up regularly by performing or delegating regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time in production processes.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd IT support.

• University degree, in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• One to two years of experience in a related role ideally within an Educational Organization.
• Good knowledge of Azure AD and O365 security and compliance, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams, Exchange.
• Good knowledge of programming languages such as PHP.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, etc).
• Ability to work with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix Hypervisor).
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware/software.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow) and source control platforms (GIT, Azure).
• Proactive and critical thinking, problem solving.
• Good team player, able to work with other departments and build productive relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organization skills.

• Knowledge of Linux, Unix, will be considered an asset.
