ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of our client, a Group of Companies operating in the Retail sector, is looking to hire an Information Technology Director to join their team.
Information Technology Director (Ref. code 5466/ESS/ITD/GR)
The ideal candidate should be in position to propose & implement new technology solutions and work closely with third party software companies to adopt new technologies and efficiently use existing ones. The candidate should have prior experience working with information technology and understand the latest technology trends to ensure the technology in place is up to date.
Responsibilities
• Manage information technology and computer systems
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Act in alignment with business needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy and evolution
• Identify problematic areas, report them to administration, propose and implement strategic solutions on time. Work closely with the management team.
• Analyze the business requirements of all departments and company’s activities to determine their technological needs and propose solutions
• Support business activities, such as wholesale, retail, e-commerce
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• ·Budget and ensure the cost-effectiveness of systems, projects and IT staff.
