International Senior Tax Manager

Your main responsibilities- Develop and lead global transfer pricing strategy and strategic tax planning projects such as intercompany transaction framework, business restructurings, acquisition integration, etc. with the assistance of our in-house teams and external tax advisors when applicable
- Analyze, develop, parametrize, and maintain a tax model simulating different tax scenarios
- Identify new transfer pricing and tax legislation across multiple jurisdictions and understand their potential impact on the Group
- Manage transfer pricing documentation process to ensure timely creation of transfer pricing reports on a global basis with the assistance of external tax advisors in the different jurisdictions
- Develop tax and transfer pricing controversy strategy and provide audit support for tax and transfer pricing issues including analyzing local financials, identifying/anticipating areas of weakness based on functional/risk analysis, and assisting with the preparation of audit-ready files
- Collaborate with business partners and interact with senior management and executives to develop a deep understanding of SIG business, reconcile with the underlying data and business reality, and develop a global strategic transfer pricing framework
- Contribute to the group/ legal entity forecasting process, working with regional and corporate finance teams
- Help with tax research related to different countries, draft memos, and other written documents, and manage knowledge of international tax laws, that are applicable to the business
- Review group financial statements to advise on VAT, tax and WT treatments and filings
- Ensure there is a robust process for dealing with all tax compliance and reporting at group’s level, e.g., DAC 6, ATAD
- Provide analysis for international tax questions raised by SIG management and operational teams
- Make sure tax risk is managed appropriately across all jurisdictions and transactions
- Monitor the Group's international tax compliance in interaction with our global tax compliance partner
- Be a productive member of a team of motivated professionals, work with external advisors, and collaborate with other teams within SIG such as controlling, accounting, legal
- Work on other ad hoc projects in relation to tax mattersReport to SIG senior management the annual Tax Risk Assessment and proactively implement all identified action plans; including coordination with in-house legal counsel and outsourced legal firms in each tax jurisdiction SIG operates
