Chief Financial Officer (Ref. 6324/CFO/ESS/GR)
Profile
The ideal candidate will be crucial in providing financial leadership and aligning business and finance strategy to drive growth and support long-term investments of the company. He/she will protect the vital assets of the company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, closing the books correctly and communicating value and risk issues to investors and the Board.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in the drafting of the business plan and facilitates its proper implementation. Is overall responsible for the financial management and operation of the company
- Leads the monitoring of the financial performance of the company and provides information on the progress of the company’s basic financial figures to the Board of Directors
- Is accountable to the Board for the progress of the company’s financial and cost figures through a precise recording of operational costs and investment plans. He/she additionally provides proper accounting and reporting information to the Management. Coordinates and supervises the rollout of the company’s financial results.
- Studies and analyzes reasons for (positive/negative) divergence in company main figures vs budget and vs previous years per month and per period.
- Monitors and evaluates the company partnerships with credit institutions and decides on new partnerships.
- Directs and coordinates financial management, customer credit, accounting and tax departments to implement processes and policies in accordance with state laws on Code for Books and Records, VAT, Taxation, etc. and management instructions
- Supports the commercial department and market development department and optimizes the implementation of the company’s commercial development policy
- Approves and signs loan agreements and cash investments in collaboration with the Administration
- Monitors and controls financial management procedures in order to minimize the exposure of the company to risks (exchange rates, etc.)
- Motivates and supports his / her team members in the performance of their duties
