Software & Hardware Engineering

DEI is looking for Software & Hardware Engineering.

Job description:

• Design and implementation of a smart house using hardware equipment and software development for the automation of energy production and storage processes
• Design and implementation of cyber-attacks on industrial power and automation systems (eg, IEEE C37.118, Siemens S7, PROFINET, KNX)
• Conduction of cyber attacks and data collection using appropriate tools (eg, Wireshark, tcpdump)
•  Writing relevant technical instructions, reports and deliverables

Necessary Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering or Physics or Computer Science or a Related Science Subject
• Good knowledge of English
• At least 3 years of documented work experience in software development (programming languages C, C++, Java, Python or similar.) and in the use and management of hardware equipment

Αdditional Qualifications:

• Master degree in ICT, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence or Computer Networks
• Experience in cybersecurity tools (eg, Wireshark, Ettercap, Metasploit, etc.)
• Skills in writing technical reports or project deliverables would be appreciated
• Ability to write research proposals (H2020, Horizon Europe, ΕΣΠΑ, etc) is desirable
• Collaboration and communication skills, analytical and organizational skills
