ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client, a well-known commercial company, and member of a multinational group, is looking for an experienced professional for the position of:

Treasury Manager (Ref. 6288/TM/ESS/GR)

Profile

The Executive is tasked with forecasting, managing and mitigating any associated risks within the Treasury function. He/she manages banking relationships and sets a clearly defined Treasury strategy that aligns with the company’s overall objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage long and short-term cash flow and working capital/liquidity
• Prepare cash reporting processes and the design/implementation of intercompany funding strategies
• Manage the proper and timely execution of cash collections and payments in order to eliminate company profit loss
• Forecast the cash flow efficiently and effectively taking all financing needs into account and providing useful insights to Management for decision making
• Coordinate all actions to develop computerized applications that improve the update of the various departments and support the decision-making about the required liquidity and capital movement
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with banks regarding cash management, all payment operations and transactions and KYC procedures
• Seek to improve and renew internal procedures within the department
• Develop and motivate team members to ensure better results and a constructive working environment

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related discipline. Postgraduate studies are strongly required
• Minimum of at least 5 years of progressively responsible treasury management experience, preferably at a multinational company
• Basic understanding of commercial civil law and banking legislation
• Experience in the Greek financial market
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Proficient user of MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel
• Ability to lead team members
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong financial acumen and knowledge of financial processes
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Superior time management skills and ability to deliver results under pressure in a highly demanding environment
