Restaurant Reservations Agent

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for the restaurant’s customer enquiries and bookings
• Check upcoming reservations; communicate reservation information (cancellations and modifications) to the Maître and follow company’s policy for no shows
• Deliver meticulous administrative duties ensuring that every detail of each reservation has been accurately recorded following established procedures
• Receive and record reservations via telephone, e-mail and in person
• Assure a smooth flow of reservations, particularly during peak time and be able to identify any possible issues
• Work closely with the Senior Sales Manager; coordinate special memos for large parties/events
• Ensure excellent response to all guest requests and complaints ensuring the necessary information is given to the right people; maintain confidentiality of guests’ information

Requirements:

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position or in customer relations or in a fine dining restaurant in the luxury gastronomy industry
• Excellent knowledge of English language
• Computer literacy; experience in Opera / Fidelio programs would be a plus
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills, detail oriented and a problem solving person
