SPA RECEPTIONIST

The Role

The Spa Receptionist provides an efficient and courteous service to all guests visiting the Spa, and aims to maximize the overall guest experience and introduce them to the resort’s signature lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

  • To welcome the guest, prepare the amenities for each arrival at the spa and to conduct a detailed tour to all spa facilities at all times.
  • To be polite and courteous and provide personalized service at all times.
  • To advise guests on spa services most suited to their needs.
  • To answer all telephones and emails promptly and efficiently.
  • To be knowledgeable on all spa services in detail and retail items, to communicate them effectively to the guests and focus on retail sales, adhering always to the service standards of the resort, to maintain retail sales targets and try to build returning business
  • To be aware of all hotel facilities, services, events and offers, and communicate appropriately to guests in order to enhance their overall stay
  • To file all client consultation forms.
  • To be aware and implement opening and closure procedures of the spa daily.
  • Act as an ambassador of the resort and the Spa facility, in terms of service excellence, work ethics, responsibility, flexibility, confidentiality and achievement of an outstanding guest experience
  • Respect all security, health and safety regulations and fire procedures, and report any hazards or any inappropriate behaviors

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Requirements

  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language
  • Knowledge of a third language (i.e. Russian, German, French, Italian, Spanish, etc.) is highly desirable
  • Diploma/degree from technical school or private college in tourism, hospitality, spa management, aesthetics/cosmetology, business, or other related field will be valued accordingly
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (knowledge of PMS or Spa software is a plus)
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience ideally as a Spa Receptionist, but also as a Front Office Agent or in a secretariat/administrative role
  • Excellent communication skills, well-groomed appearance, professionalism, and ability to demonstrate passion and to transmit exquisite service standards to guests
  • Pleasant personality, positive attitude, and a sales-oriented mind-setting
