About the job
DHL Supply Chain is looking for a colleague who can come and strengthen the inventory management team.
You start your day with your team in the department, in the middle of the warehouse. As a stock manager, you and your team deal with all matters related to stock in the warehouse. Think of the layout of the warehouse, the tracing of lost items, the resolution of logistical issues concerning the stock, the prevention of problems, but also the execution of standard checks. Together with your team you answer questions from the customer and you solve problems that people encounter. Collaboration, logistics insight and offering service fit you exactly!
The team of the inventory management/ Operations Support department is on a daily basis to offer support to the operational departments.
The tasks can be subdivided into customer service related activities and inventory management.
For inventory management this means that you are concerned with, among other things:
- Daily counting of a portion of the stock based on lists created by SAP;
- Optimize stock locations, create, delete and manage both physical and systematic locations in SAP;
- Analyzing and solving stock differences;
- Acting as a point of contact for operational departments, assistance and support in the event of ambiguities in the process;
- Acting as a contact for the customer, executing stock related requests (eg serial number check, stock check, move stock etc.);
- Taking care of structured communication between the operation and the customer regarding damage cases;
- Performing quality checks on operational processes, Safety, 5S and following procedures;
- Sharing reports with operational departments and management.
For customer service this means that you are responsible for:
- The handling and assessment of customer complaints via the central ticket system;
- Executing requests / answering questions from the client on various topics;
- Intensive communication with team members of inventory management regarding the provision and monitoring of requests from our customer;
- Sharing reports with operational departments and management.
