PLC Automation Engineer

Leading Company in the Renewable Energy sector is looking to hire a PLC Engineer to be responsible for fault diagnostics, PLC changes, and PLC optimizations, as well as the design of control programs as required.

The PLC Engineer will be also expected to maintain relationships with the facilities manager and supervisor for planning and equipment development.

Requirements:

• Previous Experience on CODESYS, STEP7
• HMI and commercial applications experience
• CANopen, Modbus RTU / Modbus TCP
• Knowledge on analogical digital cards, PT100 etc
• Phoenix Contac PLC Next
• Data exchange
• Micro controllers
• Previous experience on photovoltaic and hybrid systems
• Previous experience on Energy storage
• Energy chain
• 2 years previous experience with PLC programming
• Computer science degree preferred
• Manufacturing background preferred
• Computer Science
• Able to think Analytically and must have personal responsibility for critical decisions
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment
• Knowledge of the Greek Language is Required
