JOB DESCRIPTION

Privately owned, Diaplous has made inroads in the security industry by escorting, arming, and safeguarding the passage of vessels in the high-risk areas of the Gulf of Aden & Gulf of Guinea and has expanded to additional lines of business. The cornerstone of DIAPLOUS success is outstanding expertise (ex-Navy officers/Army Special Forces, long experienced, especially in maritime interdiction operations) and client-centricity, both resulting in consistent success, client satisfaction, trust, referrals, word of mouth and extension of services to keep clients happy and safe.
We are seeking an ambitious Sales Executive for our office in Athens, to further expand Diaplous’ competitive position in Maritime Risk Management and Security, specifically in the international market, driving client compliance, safety, and success.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performing administrative tasks and general clerical office duties (emails, calls, etc.).
- Managing the daily agenda and tasks inside and outside of the office.
- Managing company’s and client’s requests, schedule changes and confirmations.
- Preparing Reports and Statistics.
- Managing the existing clientele
- Find new clientele and new business opportunities.
- Analyzing client’s needs
- Maintaining open communication channels with clients.
- Coordinating well with other departments of the company.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree will be considered an asset
- Fluent Greek and English both written and oral
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Previous experience in the ERP SoftΟne will be considered an asset
Skills
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position dealing with Shipping, Maritime, Security, or any other relevant field
- University degree in Business Administration, Shipping or other relevant discipline
- Advanced knowledge of English language, strong preference for native speakers
- Computer savvy; adept in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel & Ppt) & Google Sheets
- Strong communication & influence skills
- Sound negotiator
- Results-Oriented & Driven, able to work under pressure adhering to sales quotas/KPIs and following the CCO’s guidance
- Well-developed ethical standards and high personal integrity
- A people-oriented personality and collaborative style is a prerequisite
- Keen customer orientation and understanding
- Team player, able to cooperate with members of other depts to better serve client needs
- Proven experience with CRM/ERP tools
- Priority and target setting, meeting deadlines and commitments without compromising quality or company values
