Job Title: Data Management Officer
Country: Greece
Duty Station: Thessaloniki with regular trips to Ioannina
Reports to: Senior Project Manager, Protection Coordinator
Duties and tasks Purpose/objective of the position:
Assess the needs of persons of concern in the AoR, (Area of Responsibility), and formulate project submissions in collaboration with district authorities and implementing partners.
Monitor the implementation of assistance projects.
Use appropriate technologies and innovation in all Basic Assistance programs.
Provide clear guidance on standards for Cash Assistance standards to meet basic and essential needs.
In coordination with the Field Office / Field Unit UNHCR assist in the assessment and provision of assistance to persons of concern.
Collect/ update data and other information on beneficiaries with particular attention to the identification of people with special needs.
Co-ordinate with partners and focal points on beneficiary lists that reflect the situation of cash assistance and cross check the data to avoid duplication and maintain an error-free list.
Participate in Cash Assistance distributions, verification and monitoring exercises and follow up, on a regular basis, on routine problems people of concern may encounter with assistance.
Maintain the filing of financial records for all cash assistance related documents, keep track & update the inventory of the ecards distributed and cashed.
Take part in the regular monitoring of the implementation of GCA assistance programs.
Perform any other related duty as requested.
Programme Quality and Specific tasks
INTERSOS Cash Focal Point:
- Monthly & biweekly cash verification (Remedial)
- Cash Help-desk
- Follow-Up of miss-payments
- CRS gap filling - Emergency Cards Release
- Cash Follow-up of PoCs movements, Partial Cash (catered) – Full Cash (not catered)
- Crosschecking of UNHCR names list
- Analysis of Data - Eligibility for Cash & Location’s verification
- Data Management and keep INTERSOS' Databe up to date
ProGres V4 Intersos Focal Point
- Supervising of all INTERSOS proGres Users
- ProGres Help-Desk
- Enrolment
- Mirroring INTERSOS name lists with proGres (Dash boards)
- Provide internal trainings for ProGres 4 & Knack users
- Responsible for monitoring changes in procedures and keeping SOPs up to date
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Provide regular progress reports to Protection Coordinator as required
Other:
Perform any other tasks as may be requested or required by the job
Reporting Requirements:
As per main duties outlined above, the Data Management Officer will
- Attend weekly protection meetings together with other colleagues
- SGBV task forces or working groups organised externally
- Attend case conferences as required
- Attend General Meetings
- Attend Internal Coordination Meetings as required
As per required the Data Management Officer should be copied in relation to
