Main Responsibilities:
- Runs tenders (RFQs) to Suppliers based on commercial input by Project Management teams and technical input by the Design Team
- Evaluates the tender results and provides summaries of the tendering, including technical compliance ranking and pricing ranking
- Reviews technical solutions provided by Suppliers prior to the approval for fabrication in collaboration with the Design Team
- Is responsible for Technical Due Diligence of new products and Suppliers in collaboration with the Design Team
- Reviews and draws-up the technical appendices of Supplier Agreements in collaboration with the Design Team and submits it to the Project Management Team
- Audits and reviews the technical appendices of EPC Contracts in collaboration with the Design Team and provides feedback to the Project Management Team
- Confirms that the purchased equipment is in line with the technical specifications drawn up by the Owner and Design Team
- Organizes and submits technical documentation to the Owner or Owner’s Engineer throughout the bidding, financing, contracting, construction, and delivery process
- Keeps abreast of relevant legislation and international standards
- Works with the Construction Team to handle non-conformities of equipment delivered on site
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering or other related Engineering fields
- 5+ years of experience in procurement for power plants or other electromechanical installations
- Professional experience with international clients and projects in Solar Market is desirable
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to accurately communicate ideas, facts and technical information across all levels of management and technical teams
- Ability to meet deadlines effectively and work well under pressure
