Assistant Waiter / Waitress

Location: Thessaloniki, Greece

Job Description

The Assistant Waiter / Waitress will have to work effectively with the restaurant team to achieve the highest guest satisfaction regarding food quality and service execution.

Responsibilities

• Ensure at all times a warm ambience, serve food and drink orders and provide information regarding the menu and the wine list
• Keep service areas, restaurant and buffet tables clean and tidy; observe the overall look of the restaurant area, take action when needed
• Be responsible for the best use of equipment and report any malfunction
• Maintain pleasant interaction with guests according to company’s standards
• Follow a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene

Qualifications / Skills

• Proven working experience minimum 1-3 years in a fine dining restaurant ideally within a 4*or 5* Luxury Hotel
• Excellent knowledge of English language;
• Pleasant personality, team player with enviable customer service skills, passionate about the job
• Good experience with cash register and ordering information system (POS)
