Περιγραφή

MYTILINEOS, a leading industrial company with a strong international presence in four Business Units, Metallurgy, Sustainable Engineering Solutions, Power & Gas and International Renewables & Storage Development is currently seeking to hire a Site Health Safety & Environmental Manager (SHSEM) based in Akraifnia, Greece.

Main Responsibilities:


• Is responsible for the administration, co-ordination and every day hands-on involvement in all Health Safety and Environmental issues
• Ensures that safe systems of work are in place with the subcontractors carrying out works at our solar plants. This includes liaising with the client’s representatives and local Authorities when required.
• Reports regularly to the QHSE Manager and Project Manager and works closely with them as as well as the engineers and workers of the site

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, preferably Civil Engineering
• 3+ years’ experience as a Safety Engineer or HSE supervisory roles in construction projects
• 2+ years’ experience in construction projects, preferably solar energy projects, as an Engineer is desirable
• Thorough knowledge of local and European HSE legislation and regulations, codes of practice and standards, especially regarding construction works
• Ability to develop and keep records of all QHSE documents required by legislation and company policy
• Ability to efficiently develop and implement all HSE programs & training on site
• Ability to prepare QHSE documentation for clients/projects as per the requirements in the English and Greek languages
• Experience of conducting HSE Inspections and Audits – producing relevant Reports
• Experience of conducting Accident / Incident investigation, analysis, and reporting
• Experience of managing subcontractors and ensuring all HSE rules are efficiently communicated, implemented, and monitored
• Ability to motivate co-workers in QHSE performance
• Ability to work within matrix organization and directly manage others
• Good analytical thinking with the ability to spot noncompliance and potential risks
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in English is essential
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Working knowledge of QHSE Management Systems (OHSAS 180001/ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001) is desirable
• Qualifications in HSE and in Electrical works are desirable
