Audit Supervisor

Role 

• Deliver work of highest quality, documented in accordance with our company’s standards 
• Knowledge of auditing techniques including risk assessment, scoping, devising and audit approach, controls testing and substantive testing, within agreed budget for the assignment 
• Act as the principal contact for the client during the on-site fieldwork and follow up on client queries once on-site work is completed 
• Deliver excellent client service and maintain strong client relationships 
• Manage on-site teams and assist in the supervision and development of more junior staff, providing training where appropriate and ensuring work is appropriately allocated 
• Research technical issues that arise and provide potential solutions for Partner’s review 
• Identify, research and propose solutions to tax issues • Maintain highest standards of business ethics 
• Adhere to deadlines, including prompt notification to the partner where problems are likely to arise or as they arise on each assignment 
• Identify business development opportunities for the firm in accordance to the business needs of clients 
• Undertake additional duties as reasonably required

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in External Audit 
• Holding a relevant professional accounting qualification, such as IESOEL/ACCA or equivalent will be considered a plus 
• Demonstrating practical very good knowledge of Greek GAAP, IFRS and Greek Tax Legislation 
• Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal 
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of business cycle controls, recognizing the audit risks and business implications where controls are absent, ineffective, or inefficient 
• Identifying, researching and helping to resolve complex audit issues, analyses problems, identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates and integrates information 
• Builds the reputation of C&A through the exceptional quality of work, knowledge and experience 
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines 
• Experience of leading an audit team and mentoring, gives clear directions, positive and constructive feedback. Coaches less experienced staff and supporting team members 
• Very strong IT literacy, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
• Very strong command of English
