As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas within the hotel. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes, cleaning work areas, and assisting in various back-of-house tasks to ensure our culinary team can operate efficiently. Your dedication to upholding hygiene standards and supporting the kitchen staff will be fundamental in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with established hygiene and safety standards.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and service areas, including floors, work surfaces, and equipment, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with the receipt, unloading, and proper storage of deliveries, maintaining organization and stock rotation protocols.
- Provide support to kitchen staff during peak service times, assisting with basic food preparation and other operational tasks as required.
- Promptly clear and clean tables in the dining area, maintaining a neat and welcoming environment for guests.
- Adhere strictly to all sanitation procedures, health regulations, and company policies to uphold a safe and compliant working environment.
- Report any equipment issues or maintenance requirements to the Stewarding Supervisor in a timely manner to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations.
