Marine Operator

Do you have 2-3 years sea experience as a Marine Operator in a structured, leading shipping company? Can you handle the demands of the Operations department of a growing shipping company? As a Marine Operator your duties will include the following:

• Support the day to day activities of the operations department
• Communicate with vessels, officers, crew, charterers, brokers, agents regarding operations of the vessels
• Coordinate and implement necessary correspondence; emails, documents, reports and phone calls
• Prepare reports on productivity and make plans to resolve any issues and improve productivity
• Determine matters of top priority and handle accordingly

As a Marine Operator in this role, you must have the following requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience as Marine Operator, ideally in Oil Chemicals, Cement vessels, in the shipping sector
• Sea service up to the level of the Captain A' or B', in tankers
• 2-3 years of onshore experience as Marine Operator
• Master in Shipping & Maritime studies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Greek and English language
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Ability to multitask and handle pressing moments effectively
• Ability to work in a quick mode, independently and with accuracy
• Hardworking professional, with ability to handle the demands of the Operations department
• Professional with business ethics
