Technical Manager - (China)

ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client, a large Manufacture company with presence in Greece and abroad, is seeking for a Technical Manager to join and strengthen their (2) two Production units in China. The China-based Technical Manager must be willing to live in China for at approximate five (5) years.

The Technical Manager will be responsible for the completion of the new industrial unit as well as the smooth operation of the existing one in China. The Technical Manager will be the key point between the Management Team and the (2) productions units in terms of technical issues. Moreover, Technical Manager’s main goal will be the development of the technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance teams of the plants
• Responsible for Industrial electrical power plants and automation (electrical drawings, industrial electrical panels, UPS systems)
• Supervision of MT Industrial Distribution Substations and Power Transformers
• Supervision of industrial electric propulsion systems including AC / DC motors, inverters, servo drives, DC drives

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (AEI/ TEI), Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or any related field
• 5 years of experience in the technical department of a large industrial unit
• Experience in project management and especially in greenfield projects and management through systems such as MS project, Primavera, Asana, Redmine
• Knowledge and experience in personnel and facility security issues
• Experience in troubleshooting industrial installations of both electrical and mechanical either utilities or production lines
• Experience in industrial maintenance and maintenance management systems such as Coswin
• Experience in compressed air systems, hydraulic automation systems with oil, water cooling circuits, design and calculation of hydraulic installations
• Excellent knowledge of English language (oral and written) with great use of technical terminology
• The candidate should have the necessary adaptability and resilience to staff management
• The candidate must have the necessary contagion to be able to train his staff
• Analytical thinking, high ability to predict / locate and take initiatives to solve problems
