COLO21 plc. has been established early 2014 by Jörg Frommeyer and André Probst. The idea behind COLO21 is to define a totally new business approach for overland groupage transportation.
Since many years, companies in the groupage transportation suffer from low profitability. Most of the global players, as well as the small and medium sized companies have difficulties to generate appropriate profit-margins.
This low profitability is the main reason for the often antiquated technological standard in this business sector. The companies often do not have the financial capabilities to invest in latest IT-technologies, even more so due to the high complexity in the groupage-business itself.
COLO21 is not an IT-company. We do not generate profit by implementing complex IT-Systems or by charging software-licence costs. COLO21 provides the users with an innovative toolset for the construction of transport-chains in the groupage market.
