Despite the fact that Egnatia Aviation is based in Greece, the company is very much a European modern enterprise based in Greece due to the good weather, the lower costs and the country’s geographic location. The Egnatia Aviation customers are from all over the world, 54 nationalities in the last 9 years.
Strictly following our mission statement, Egnatia Aviation is committed to provide the best flight training conditions in Europe for the future commercial and private pilots. Egnatia Aviation combines the excellent flying training weather of Greece, modern facilities in a international airport and the low Greek Civil Aviation fees, with new, modern training aircraft and simulator, experienced instructors and the best study guides to provide very competitively priced training packages that include all CAA and airport fees, and accommodation available in newly build flats in a seaside holiday resort at very competitive prices.
We are based at Kavala International Airport (LGKV), one of the best equipped airports in Greece.
Established in the United Kingdom in 2005, Egnatia Aviation will continue to expand into a variety of aviation services such as aviation tourism, aircraft rental and plane sharing schemes, making ownership and aircraft availability easier. We will actively promote general aviation in Greece and participate in all serious activities and local community events. In order to improve aircraft availability and to reduce servicing downtime and overhead costs, in 2007 Egnatia Aviation created an EASA approved maintenance organisation, strengthening its infrastructure and capabilities.
The new state-of-the-art Alsim ALX simulator strengthens our position in the international flight training market and enables us to offer better quality competitive priced training and MCC coursces.
Egnatia Aviation has also recently been appointed a distributor by Diamond Aircraft Industries and AT AERO to provide sales and after sales care for their new and used aircraft.
